I had 3 charters on the Delaware last week and one tonight and I have to say that our river is producing some of the nicest Bass I've ever had out there. The past 5 trips have yielded mega-numbers with mostly larger fish taking ever variety of lure and bait you throw at them. Tonight me and Dave fished for 2 1/2 hours before heavy rains chased us off, and it was tough to leave them biting like that. The big fish of the night was this slob that inhaled my Rapala Husky Jerk in 5 feet of water.
Saturday night I hosted Adam Starling's bachelor party on the Miss Beach Haven for some drunken wreck fishing. We were drunken wrecks, and we also fished on some shipwrecks out at Little Egg Reef. We boated a ton of nice Sea Bass, Porgies, Triggerfish, Croakers, and a variety of other species. I am getting pretty booked with charters right now but it's not too late to book a date, time is running out and pretty soon we'll be in the winter doldrum months. Fall feeding frenzy
Yesterday I had the "Still Bill" party on my boat and we put on a clinic out there. The bass are fattening up on Shad fry right now and they can be caught in huge numbers. Think 40-50 fish for 2 anglers. If you were thinking about booking a charter with me, now would be a good time. I have a dedicated website for my fishing guide service at www.mickeysfishing.com
I also did some surfcasting this week down at Island Beach State Park and big Bluefish have finally moved back in. Soon we will be catching Striped Bass from the sand.

Party Boat Wreck Fishing
Me and Nick wreck fished on the Gambler last night out of Point Pleasant, NJ. We caught Ling, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Conger Eels, Cod, Bergalls, and the biggest surprise of all, Lobsters. It's almost not possible but we hauled up 2 lobsters on back to back casts and ate them at 4am this morning when the trip was done. This whole trip was filmed for the next installment of the Brownie Troop Fishing Show which will be viewable by next week, and it's a classic.

Nasty Good fishing on the River Today
Iive been on tour the past couple weeks and I've been going through major fishing withdrawal. Today the forecast was for rain and except for a tiny bit of drizzle early in the day it was perfect fishing conditions. Within the first 90 minutes I had over 20 Smallmouth Bass including this personal best river Bass at 4.73 lbs. It got to the point where I actually got bored of catching smallies and decided to troll for bigger fish and I ended up with 3 walleye to 20 inches. I am going to be starting my fishing guide business soon, right now I am working on a new website for it but if you'd like to contact me about a Delaware river charter for this fall please email me at vealmarsala@gmail.com
