Frigid day on the water, fish don't mind.

I woke up this morning and the thermometer read 15 degrees. Reluctantly I put on 4 layers of clothes and pulled my ass out of bed as I had been getting reports that Stripers can still be had as long as you know where to look. To say it was cold was an understatement, we froze our balls off. We caught fish on the first cast and proceeded to light them up one after another for 90 minutes until the bite turned off. The best part was running into fellow Brownie Trooper James Amore out there braving the elements, like what else would a normal person do on a day like this? Fisherman are a strange bunch.

My fishing buddy from LBI Dante Soriente has a killer new website online at http://www.themagicmann.com/

Dante is one hell of a fisherman and his website has a ton of resources and information. He organizes a lot of open boat fishing trips and also travels quite a bit in pursuit of big fish. Please check it out and tell him i sent you.

Cool Article in Vice Magazine

This past fall Vice Magazine sent a writer and a photographer down to fish with me for an article in their Magazine. It actually came out pretty funny. Click here to view the online version. http://www.viceland.com/int/v17n1/htdocs/chocolate-and-cheese-and-striped-bass-296.php?page=1
