Episode VIII
Carp Rescue
This was filmed in my hometown of New Hope, PA. Since I was a little kid I fished along the Delaware Canal, a body of water which runs parallel to the Delaware River. We used to catch trout, bass, and every other native species in there. Recently they have drained the canal in order to dredge and widen it. This left about a million fish stranded in little pools of water, you can see their fins on top. In this episode we net and release them in Ingham Creek at the mouth of the river.

Episode VII
Late Summer Blues
The Bluefish doesn't get nearly enough respect in our opinion. We make a point of targetting them exclusively a handful of times every year. There is no finer way to test your tackle, if any part of your rod and reel, line, hooks and tackle are compromised then you will not land a big Bluefish. Even with 50lb flurocarbon leader I still got bitten off a handful of times on this trip. Lay back and groove on a rainy day...........

Episode VI
Sharks From the Beach
Whenever we're surfcasting during the summer months you inevitably attract a crowd of people that want to know what's in the water they're swimming in. Most people don't want to know the real answer. The truth is, New Jersey has plenty of Sharks right within close range of every swim beach. We have Brown Sharks, Sand Tigers, Dusky Sharks, Thresher Sharks, and even Bull Sharks who are notoriously mean. On the evening this was filmed we were fishing with the guys from Surf Rocket Fishing.com, you will see the rocket in action at the end.

Episode V
Butthole Surfers
If you told me that I could have anyone in the world as my guests on a fishing boat, Gibby Haynes would be at the top of my list. I happened to be going fishing the day after the Butthole Surfers played Asbury Park and Gibby called me and asked me what there was to do in the area on a day off. Sometimes things just work out that way. This is New Jersey fishing at it's finest, miles and miles of Adult Bunker as far as the eye can see with Striped Bass all over them. We were snagging them with weighted treble hooks and letting them drop down to the opportunistic Bass below. This was a total blast, as you will see.

Episode IV
Spring Surf Fishing
Surfcasting (fishing from the beach) is an obsession for many people, including me. I would rather catch a 20 lb fish from the surf than a 40lb fish from a boat. We picked this night to film because all of the conditions that we look for lined up at once. A full moon, high tide at sunset, and a major barometric change--actually we ended up fishing in a dangerous lightning storm. Just watch and see for yourself.

Episode Three-Striped Bass with Broken Leg
When people from out of state think of New Jersey, they probably think of factories and refineries along the highway by Bayonne or Newark. Sort of like the imagery during the intro of The Sopranos. We like it that way. New Jersey is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes on the East Coast, and also an extremely fertile fishing ground. In this episode we live-line Adult Bunker and fish for Striped Bass up in the waters of New Jersey and New York--Raritan Bay, Sandy Hook, Coney Island, etc. This is our first episode shot in high definition but you'll have to wait to buy the dvd to enjoy it that way.

Episode Two-Striped Bass in Trenton, NJ
It's no secret that our favorite fish to catch are Stripers. Trenton is my birthplace and I have a great deal of pride in the city. It's hard to believe that my favorite fish makes an annual appearance within casting distance of the badlands. This was filmed on a rainy, cold, windy morning and we got into some nice fish but lost all of our equipment due to the rain.

Episode One-Shad Fishing on the Delaware
Our first episode wasn't really supposed to exist, we just wanted to go out on the boat so Marc could get familiar with how I roll. As it turns out, we happened to be fishing on one of the few days that the Shad made any appearance at all. Shortly after we filmed this article popped up in the NY Times: Article Link
Guess we got lucky.
