Shark Week pt. 2
We went out again last night and caught about 10 more Brown Sharks. There is nothing like getting completely wasted drunk and catching sharks with a bunch of friends on a hot August night in Jersey.

Shark Week pt. 1
With the full moon this week combined with very warm ocean temperatures the sharks have moved in right off the swim beaches here in Jersey. We landed 8 Brown Sharks to 85 lbs. on Friday night and we are going back for more tonight. I will hopefully post more pictures tomorrow, this fish was caught Friday night on the outgoing tide.

What a past couple of days it has been for Smallmouth Bass. The fishing on our river has been phenomenal with great action including me catching my personal best Smallmouth at 21 inches as well as many other hogs by the dozens. The action isn't just limited to our area either, we have a new leader in the Smallmouth category with Dave's multiple 5+ pounders coming from Tennessee. Look at these photos:

My good friend Captain Dieter Scheel and his personal best Delaware River Smallie caught 24 hours before mine.

Red hot river fishing

With Ween leaving on tour in just a couple of days I have been cramming in some marathon fishing trips on the Delaware. The past 3 trips have been some of the most productive I have ever experienced with totals looking something like this: 30 Striped Bass per outing, 10 smallmouth, 10 channel catfish, 2 Walleye, etc. We have been absolutely kicking ass around here, we also have 2 secret local ponds where we sneak on and they have also been producing some awesome Largemouth Bass. Speaking of which, please sign up for the Brownie Troop Bass Derby, information is listed above. Click here to see a funny video of us landing a nice Walleye in a horrible thunderstorm.
